Patrick

Patrick is a compact, typey smooth coat male with a beautiful outline, animated expression, and graceful movement. He earned his AKC Championship in just four shows — all with majors — and quickly followed it with his Grand Champion title.

More than anything, Patrick is known for his deep love of people. He has never met a stranger — greeting everyone he meets with tail wags, joyful energy, and signature Patrick-style hugs and kisses. Whether it is family, friends, or someone he has just met, Patrick's affectionate personality makes a lasting impression.

In addition to his role as a stud, Patrick is a working medical alert dog and emotional support companion, and a certified RocDog therapy dog with his AKC Therapy Dog Novice title. He blends utility, training, and natural warmth in a way few dogs can.

"I Wumbo, You Wumbo, He, She, We Wumbo."

If you have ever spent ten minutes with a child anywhere in the last twenty-five years, you know Patrick Star — SpongeBob SquarePants's pink, well-meaning, perpetually optimistic best friend. The line "Set it to Wumbo" comes from one of the show's most-quoted episodes, where Patrick explains the obvious solution to a problem with a word he just made up.

That is our Patrick. Big-hearted, joyfully present, and completely undeterred by the world's complications. He greets every stranger like a long-lost friend and treats every visit, every show, every moment with the same enthusiasm. Wumbo, indeed.

About Patrick's cardiac clearance. Patrick holds an OFA Basic Cardiac clearance — a board-certified auscultation that detects murmurs and structural abnormalities. We are scheduling his OFA Advanced Cardiac echocardiogram for Fall 2026 to upgrade his cardiac certification to the gold standard. We test every sire to OFA standards as part of our commitment to honest, verifiable health screening, and Patrick's full CHIC certification places him among a small percentage of Chihuahuas worldwide whose health testing is publicly registered with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.
