Sire
Meet Clark
Clark is a four-pound cream long coat son of Marshall, carrying his father's clean structure and his dam Jelly's gentle warmth in equal measure.
We took him out for show training and quickly learned Clark just wasn't into it. Showing simply isn't his thing. So we honored that. What Clark wants is home life — quiet rooms, soft laps, and our company — and in our program, the dog tells us what they need.
What Clark brings is structural and genetic. An exceptionally low coefficient of inbreeding (COI 0.07%), a clean panel across all four major Chihuahua disease tests, an OFA Advanced Cardiac echocardiogram cleared by a board-certified cardiologist, and the line continuity of Marshall's son. He will be available for stud service by the end of 2026.
Be My Kryptonite
His call name is Clark — for Clark Kent, Superman's mild-mannered alter ego, the version of the hero who would rather be at home with the people he loves than out front in the spotlight. Quiet, kind, and famously domestic. When our Clark told us he didn't want to be a show dog, the name suddenly fit even better than we'd intended.
His registered name, "Be My Kryptonite," doubles up. Kryptonite is the only thing in the universe that can stop Superman cold — the one weakness that brings the strongest dog in the room to his knees. It is also the name of a love song, an anthem to the person who undoes you in the best way. Clark is exactly that: impossibly hard to resist, and devastating in his sweetness.
Two layers, one wink. The hero who wanted to stay home, and the love that brings him to his knees. That is our Clark.
What Clark's COI of 0.07% actually means. The Coefficient of Inbreeding is a measure of how genetically related a dog's two parents are — the lower the number, the more genetic diversity the dog carries, and the lower the risk of inheriting two copies of any harmful recessive gene. Most pedigreed dogs sit between 5% and 15% COI. Clark's 0.07% places him in the top tier of genetic diversity within the breed — the kind of number you only achieve through deliberate, multi-generational outcrossing. Combined with his clean panel across all four major Chihuahua disease tests and his OFA Advanced Cardiac echocardiogram — the gold standard, performed by a board-certified veterinary cardiologist — Clark represents exactly the kind of genetic and structural foundation we want in our future sires.
